Macs do NOT suck for gaming. That's a lie that the video gaming industry has fabricated and you eat it up because you're an idiot. I can run World of Warcraft PERFECTLY on my iBook, which is the lowest-end computer that Apple makes. I could only imagine how it runs on a PowerMac G5, or an Intel iMac.
You think Macs suck for gaming because the video game industry won't release hybrid PC/Mac video game CDs like Blizzard Entertainment does. If EA and Activision and the other major video game publishers weren't such evil profit whores, you'd see a lot more games running natively on a Mac just as easily as they do on a PC, and then Microsoft would be in deep shit.

Here's the thing about World of Warcraft. The minimum specs are ridiculously facile. Basically any shitbag machine can run it with no problem. My scumbag pavilion with it's paltry ge 440 go runs it, and doesn't get any hotter than it does running Firefox and iTunes simultaneously.
Try running Vanguard on a Mac when it comes out. I DARE YOU! I have to buy a new fucking box for that game.
But the gaming industry is shitbags anyway. They throw tons of money at making SFX without plot or decent gameplay. Some of the best, most entertaining games are still the oldest and with decidely simple graphics -- like WoW. IIRC, they don't even use stencil shadows. Easy peasy.
Hell, modding out Baldur's Gate still rocks my socks. Fuck everything else but BG and WoW. It's all you need anyway.
